Maya Roytman (she/her/hers) is a first-year MD/MA in Bioethics and Health Policy at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She received her B.S. from Loyola University Chicago in Neuroscience and Public Health, with minors in Bioethics and Spanish Language. She has been involved in the National Premedical Division of the American Medical Women's Association throughout her undergraduate studies, and serves as the Research Committee Co-Chair of the National Student Bioethics Association. She also is a research assistant in maternal-fetal medicine and public health. Maya is interested in reproductive health, clinical ethics, and medical education. In her free time she loves traveling, reading, attending Broadway shows, and watching movies.
