Beyond Access

People with disabilities are too often excluded from conversations about intimacy and sexual

health. Despite sexual health being recognized as a fundamental component of overall

well-being, healthcare professionals frequently receive little formal education on addressing

these topics with disabled patients, while individuals with disabilities continue to encounter

barriers to accessible information, resources, and affirming care.
