Social Chair
University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine
Class of 2029

Divya Nair is a medical student at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She graduated with a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a B.A. in History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from Johns Hopkins University in 2023. She is deeply invested in sexual and reproductive health access and equity for sexual and gender minorities, and she hopes to specialize in OB/Gyn. Before joining medical school, she worked as research coordinator on a maternal health clinical trial called Healthy for Two/ Healthy for You at the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology, and Clinical Research at Johns Hopkins University. Through her professional career, she hopes to continue engaging in public health oriented research to inform her future practice as a physician and improve the standard of care for patients. Divya joined the Medical Student Forum for Female Sexual Medicine to help de-stigmatize conversations about sex and pleasure in the medical setting, especially for queer communities of color. Outside her professional interests, Divya likes to crochet, paint, and weight lift, and she is excited to continue exploring Chicago.
