Aditi Mahajan, MD, is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident at NewYork-Presbyterian, currently completing her intern year at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West in New York City. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, majoring in Biology, Health, and Society with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. Before medical school, she taught second grade in Seattle through Teach For America and received a Master's in Education from the University of Washington.
Aditi attended Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she developed interests in narrative medicine and sexual health. She participated in and facilitated discussions through Georgetown's Literature and Medicine Track and founded Let's Talk About Sexual Health, a community education initiative focused on improving access to sexual health information and fostering open dialogue around sexual well-being.
Her professional interests include sexual medicine, pelvic health, disability advocacy, adaptive fashion, and the intersection of medicine, culture, and storytelling. Through her educational content on social media, she shares evidence-based information about sexual health, adaptive design, and life in medical training. Outside of the hospital Aditi loves fashion, reading, going to the gym, and exploring the city with her friends.
