Julia served as a Medical Advocate for sexual assault survivors (YWCA) for the last 5 years. She love this work and will continue this work for as long as possible. Prior to starting medical school, Julia was a consultant for 7 years. She came to the US for college (first MVCC) and then decided to stick around as she "fell in love with the country and its people." Julia also has research experience at the Shirley Ryan ability lab. Julia loves hanging out with people who support each other to strive for their best. She really doesn't believe in a competitive culture and is so excited to become part of a field that thrives under collaboration!
